Time flies when you’re having fun. I don’t necessary want to claim another year, but since I have little choice in the matter, I shall enjoy my “special day.” Gigi baked me a cake (one of the skills that I’ve passed on), and she even had me light and blow out my candles…an American tradition that she has wholeheartedly adopted. The photo shoot you see below is all her idea!
Many people have asked me, "do you need anything?" Truthfully, I can do just fine with what is available here, but there are some things that would be nice to have. I'll be honest...care packages and newsy letters totally brighten my day. Here are some ideas of things that I'd love to find waiting for me at the post office:
- Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
- Miniature Butterfingers
- Mac and Cheese
- Knorr Pasta Sides (the ones with the 2 veggie servings)
- Dehydrated fruit
- Pretzels
-Crackers (wheat thins, triscuits...)
-M&M's (Dark Choc.Peanut; Plain)
-Nuts (to make trail mix with)
- DVD's and Books (see the link below for KB's wishlist; Used items are just fine with me!)
-Burt's BeesWax Lip Shimmer (in cocoa)
-Velveeta cheese
-White meat chicken in a bag (does not require refrigeration)
-Vacuum packed white tuna
- Jerky
-Magazines (People, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic, Shape, Reader's Digest, and anything else that you may have lying around the house that looks like it has interesting articles)
